Practice This: Compassion

There are times we hit bottom. We hit it so low we knock ourselves out by the blunt force of our sinking emotions. In life we live we die; we find love we lose love. In those intense moments of life we intentionally and unintentionally yearn for compassion; a sincere understanding of the process and the pain that we know time will subdue.

If you find yourself at your lowest in life-look up and not to those whom you thought would extend a helping hand. The lift you need is in those that can empathize and understand that everything in life is temporary, but that your pain is impactful to your existence. Whatever side you find yourself-whether the bottom or the hand to help someone out, don’t give up in believing that in time the right hand will come to lift you out. It might even be  your own.
